To make your stay pleasant, please take note of the following.

DEPARTURES AND ARRIVALS

CAMPING

  • Arrival 3 p.m.
  • Departure 1 p.m.

CABINS

  • Arrival 4 p.m.
  • Departure 10 a.m

You can still take advantage of the site’s public areas if you arrive early or leave late.

CAMPING

WORK AND MAINTENANCE OF CAMPING GROUNDS

  • All campers must complete their construction work before June 20 of each season.
  • The work must be done between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Trailers must always be parked so as not to obstruct the view of other campers.
  • Materials must be gathered progressively and put away immediately to keep the ground clean and protect everyone’s safety.

VISITORS

The visitor parking lot is located near the main building.

Visitors cannot drive their vehicles on the site.

CURFEW AND CALMNESS

The curfew is at 11pm.

Fireplaces

  • Fires are permitted only in fireplaces located on each campsite.
  • Fires, or even embers, should not be left unattended and should be extinguished before leaving.

Noise

  • Cars with a defective or noisy muffler are not allowed on the site.
  • Any noise or music that may be inconvenient to the neighbours will not be tolerated.

ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION

Obviously, we cannot use electricity as we do at home when camping.

Electric heaters and water heaters are prohibited.

We ask that you keep your propane refrigerator and water heater running at all times.

An additional amount is charged for connecting an electric refrigerator.

CABINS

CABIN MAINTENANCE

The maintenance of our units is done after the departure of the customers. We do not perform daily maintenance for stays longer than one night. Towels are not replaced, but you can change them at the reception desk between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. You are responsible for the cabin maintenance during your stay. A penalty of $150 is applicable if maintenance staff has to clean your dishes or do excessive cleaning.

When leaving, we request that you:

  • Deposit the waste bags in the appropriate bins near your cabin
  • wash and put away all the dishes used during your stay (penalty of $150 otherwise).

ANIMALS

Only dogs and cats are accepted.

  • Dogs must be kept on a leash and always under control of their owner.
  • The rope or leash should never exceed the limits of your site.
  • Animals deemed dangerous will be prohibited on the site.
  • Do not leave your animal unattended, either on your site, in your camping equipment, in cabins or in your vehicle (including your boat).
  • The owners must immediately pick up their animal’s droppings under penalty of expulsion without any warning, from the first offence.
  • A barking dog will cause an automatic warning. After 3 warnings, the client will no longer be able to bring their dog on the site during their stay or will be expelled from their site, without reimbursement of the season rate.
  • You are responsible for any damage caused by your pet.
  • Any deviation from its requirements will be punishable by expulsion without reimbursement.

VEHICLES ON THE SITE

The maximum speed on the ground is 5 km/h.

Motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles,
and this, only to get to the campsite.

Boat trailers
It is forbidden to park your boat or trailer on your campsite and to leave a closed trailer on your site.
Trailers must be parked in the boat parking lot.

Number of vehicles per site
Only one vehicle per tenant is accepted, other vehicles must be parked near the reception hall.
The only exception: people with reduced mobility whose vehicle is identified.

CIGARETTE AND CANNABIS

The consumption of cannabis is prohibited anywhere on the site.

It is strictly forbidden to smoke in all our accommodation units. However, you have access to your private terrace. A penalty of $300 will be applied to the credit card on file if this policy is violated.

RECYCLING AND WASTE

We thank you for placing all your waste in the containers placed near the road, to the right of the campsite exit.

It is very important to have two containers, one for recycling and one for the garbage.

For longer stays, empty your trash cans every day to avoid attracting animals and causing foul smells.

  • Glass containers: The use of canned beverages is recommended. It is forbidden to consume beverages in glass containers on the beach.
  • Cigarettes : It is forbidden to put out cigarettes on the ground and to use the campground or the surroundings of the lake as an ashtray. All sites are equipped with a fireplace, please use them for cigarette butts.
  • Waste waters and washing : It is forbidden to connect a pipe and discharge wastewater in the lake or on the ground. Campers caught in default will have to answer for their acts before the civil authorities and the Ministry of the Environment.
    It is forbidden to wash dishes or clothes in the sinks inside the sanitary block.

EXPULSION

The management of OTIS Nature, or its representative, reserves the right to expel, without reimbursement, any user or visitor that they deem undesirable.

EMERGENCY PLAN

In the event of a major flood, earthquake, tornado, or storm, we strongly advise you to leave your camp with your family using your vehicle.

If the reception hall is closed, an emergency number is always found at the entrance and on the reception door.

NON-RESPONSIBILITY

The owners of the campsite are in no way responsible for damages, costs, losses, or expenses caused to the tenant by a lack of electricity, wind, water, rain, hail, insects, rodents, birds or any other animal, trees, fire, theft, accidents or damage, disturbances, injuries, troubles, inconveniences caused by the acts of other tenants or third parties.
